Information for applicants

The MRC LID Studentships programme recruited our final round of students in early 2026. Unfortunately, we do not have new funding to continue the scheme, and therefore we will not be advertising or recruiting in the future.

Other available funding options are listed through our partnership institution’s pages:

Alternatively, other MRC-funded postgraduate studentships will be available via a web search. (Most are advertised on FindAPhD between August and December each year, but not all.)
